San Antonio’s first QuikTrip to open soon

On Saturday, October 6th at 10am, San Antonio’s first QuikTrip convenience store will open up their doors with a big celebration according to a Facebook event post. The company is looking at opening 22 San Antonio stores according to their press release with stores in Kirby and Leon Valley to open this year.

The Tulsa, Oklahoma based chain is about to open up at 7501 N. Loop 1604 in Live Oak and will have an inflatable slide, balloon artist, face painter, DJ, photo booth and giving away free samples of food they’ll be selling in the store Saturday.

They have a unique San Antonio menu that caters to the San Antonian taste when it comes to dishing out tacos, burritos, sandwiches and kolaches in their grab & go section.

In addition to all of the fun, they’ll have the official Oscar Meyer Weinermobile on site as well as drawings for a YETI Hopper, Spurs and San Antonio FC tickets.

QT stores serve as a designated Safe Place where runaways and at-risk youth can come in to receive food and drink to wait for a volunteer from a Safe Place agency partner to connect them with professional help and a place to say until their situation is resolved.

If you’re looking for a convenience store job, you can apply online at their website.
