Zoo lights begins this weekend

On November 16th through November 22nd, the Whataburger Zoo Lights transforms the San Antonio Zoo into a magical wonderland. The animals go to sleep and the zoo is filled with millions of LED lights in it’s bigger and better than ever attraction.

The lights is for all-ages to enjoy with life sized animal lights from the savanna, including the 15-foot tall giraffe in Starry Safarri. There will be spots to pick up some s’mores and hot coco.

There’s plenty of things to look and do such as camel rides, photo op with the giant snow globe, the Holiday Express train ride through Brackenridge Park at the Train Depot, visit with Santa and tell him what you want for Christmas, cookies with Mrs. Claus. You might even see the zoo’s newest hippo mascot, Cowboy!

Don’t forget about the Lakeside Light show that features a high-tech light show combined with EDM, Dubstep and Hip-Hop Christmas music that will wow all-ages.

New this year, is Kiddie Park Connection. Guests can enjoy San Antonio’s treasured landmark at night with nostalgic rides for all to enjoy.

The San Antonio zoo will be open Monday – Friday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. – Saturday: 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Sunday: 12 p.m. till 9p.m.
