World’s longest holiday light drive thru to open in Selma

A new drive thru lighting experience is coming to the San Antonio area called The Light Park. This extravagant place opens up to the public on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. Over one million lights will be installed that will go to music. This attraction is coined as the longest drive thru light parks in the world!

Located at 1 Retama Parkway in Selma, TX. Visitors can tune into a special radio broadcast with Christmas tunes from DJ Polar Ice and his squad to enjoy while waiting for their turn.

There’s some things to know before you visit The Light Park.

Vehicles that are under 10 feet and shorter than 26 feet in length will fit fine. So if you have a full-sized van or a Double cab F-250, those will fit perfectly through the turns. It’s semi trucks, limos, vehicles with trailers and Santa’s sleigh that won’t be able to make it around those corners.

People won’t be allowed to leave their vehicle and every vehicle must pay and go through the entire drive-thru experience.

The drive takes typically around 30 to 40 minutes on weekdays and much longer from anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes or more on weekends or holiday weeks.

There are currently four locations in Texas that include Grand Prairie, Spring, and Katy.
