KERRVILLE, TX – July 10, 2025 – In the wake of the devastating flooding along the Guadalupe River, Walmart, Sam’s Club, and community partners are stepping up to support associates, customers, and residents impacted by the disaster. With widespread damage across the region, the companies are working closely with local leaders, first responders, and national relief organizations to provide essential services and supplies.

Two Walmart locations—Supercenter #508 in Kerrville and Store #1249 in San Angelo—have become active relief sites, offering a variety of free resources to those affected.

In addition, Walmart and Sam’s Club have launched a donation-matching initiative—pledging to match customer and member donations up to $250,000 through July 20, 2025. Every dollar contributed through the official Salvation Army disaster relief site will go directly to recovery efforts, with no administrative fees.

“We’re here to help our associates, customers and members who’ve been impacted by the flooding in the Texas Hill Country,” said a Walmart representative. “As always, our focus is working alongside community leaders and responders to get resources to those who need them most.”

As recovery efforts continue, Walmart will keep the public informed by updating available services and relief information.
