SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Six Flags Fiesta Texas is once again bringing the energy, culture and color of Fiesta to life with the return of Viva La Fiesta, running on select dates from April 3 through April 26, 2026.
The annual celebration transforms the park into a vibrant showcase of San Antonio’s rich traditions, blending live Latin-inspired entertainment, limited-time culinary offerings, festive décor and high-thrill attractions into one immersive experience.
“Viva La Fiesta reflects the heart and culture of San Antonio,” said park manager Robert Bustle. “From live music and dance to unforgettable food and themed experiences, this event brings Fiesta traditions to life in a way only Six Flags Fiesta Texas can offer.”
Live Entertainment Takes Center Stage
Guests can expect a full lineup of performances throughout the park, turning multiple venues into lively stages filled with music and movement.
At Teatro Fiesta, “Baila Esta Cumbia” delivers a high-energy tribute to Selena, while Mariachi Los Soberanos showcases traditional mariachi sounds rooted in Mexican heritage. Over at Texas State Square, Sonido9 brings a mix of salsa, bachata and cumbia rhythms, keeping crowds dancing throughout the day.
Family-friendly entertainment is also part of the experience, including “Bubble Pop!” at Pete’s Eats Stage, featuring upbeat hits from across generations. Beginning April 11, “Rockville Beach Party” opens at Rockville High Theater, adding a nostalgic indoor musical celebration to the lineup.
Showtimes vary daily, and guests are encouraged to check the Six Flags mobile app during their visit for the latest schedule.
Fiesta Flavors Across the Park
In addition to entertainment, Viva La Fiesta introduces a wide variety of limited-time food and drink options inspired by Latin cuisine and park favorites.
Guests can enjoy items such as Mexican street tacos with carnitas, asada or al pastor, mini trompo skewers, brochetas and Southwest-inspired dishes like potato tacos and Armadillo Eggs. Traditional treats like pan dulce, buñuelos and Mexican fruit cups are also available, alongside unique offerings like boysenberry paletas and brisket-topped BBQ mac and cheese.
Specialty cocktails, mocktails and Latin beer selections will be offered at select locations throughout the park.
A Special Day for A Kid Again
As part of the celebration, Sunday, April 19, will highlight A Kid Again, a nonprofit organization that provides year-round experiences for children with life-threatening conditions and their families. The day will include additional entertainment and activities designed to create an inclusive and joyful environment for guests of all abilities.
New Fiesta Medal Debuts
This year’s collectible Fiesta Medal introduces a mysterious twist, drawing inspiration from the legend of the Chupacabra. The 2026 design ties into the park’s evolving storyline, with subtle hints connected to recent themed updates and social media teases.
The medal is available at major merchandise locations throughout the park while supplies last and is expected to be a popular collectible among Fiesta enthusiasts.
Thrills Meet Tradition
What sets Viva La Fiesta apart is its setting inside a theme park, where cultural celebration meets high-speed excitement. Guests can experience live music and festive foods, then step onto rides that reach speeds up to 75 miles per hour or enjoy more relaxed attractions like the park’s scenic train ride.
For many San Antonio families, Six Flags Fiesta Texas remains a staple of Fiesta season, offering a unique way to celebrate with entertainment, food and thrills all in one place.
Guests looking to extend their visits can take advantage of the park’s Gold Pass membership, which includes unlimited access to all Texas Six Flags parks and Schlitterbahn. Additional details are available at sixflags.com/fiestatexas.
