Visit San Antonio Welcomes Singer/Songwriter Angel White for River Walk Live! During Juneteenth Week

This is White’s First Performance at the Historic Arneson Theatre

San Antonio (June 18, 2024)—Visit San Antonio is excited to announce its second River Walk Live! concert this week, celebrating the federal holiday Juneteenth. Western soul artist and Texas native Angel White will perform at the historic Arneson Theatre for the first time on Thursday, June 20. Seating begins at 6 p.m., followed by the opening artist at 7 p.m. White will take the stage at 8:30 p.m. to perform his well-known hits, such as “Outlaw” and the recently released “2733” from his critically acclaimed debut album, *GHOST OF THE WEST: VOLUME I*.

River Walk Live! debuted in May 2024 with Grammy-nominated country artist Jack Ingram. His inaugural concert attracted hundreds of locals and visitors to the Arneson Theatre to enjoy acoustic renditions of Ingram’s chart-topping hits. Visit San Antonio is proud to partner with major music labels to bring established and emerging artists from across the country to perform at the theatre. The monthly concert series takes place every third Thursday of each month, excluding April and November.

“I’ve always loved performing in San Antonio. Being from Texas, I feel a deep connection to the city and have always felt like my music has been welcomed with open arms,” White said. “I’m honored to be a part of the city’s Juneteenth celebration.”

All River Walk Live! concerts aim to bring the community together and create a more vibrant River Walk experience. Therefore, the concerts are free to the public. Seating is available until capacity is reached at The Arneson Theatre, which holds an estimated 800 seats. Next month’s concert is on Thursday, July 18, featuring music artist Triston Marez.

Event Venue Change

Although the weather is expected to clear for a beautiful evening on the river, due to forecasted weather conditions during event setup, the River Walk Live! concert on Thursday, June 20, has moved from the Arneson River Theatre to the Hard Rock Cafe at 111 W. Crockett, on the River Walk. All event details remain the same. Please check The San Antonio River Walk website for any future updates.
