SAN ANTONIO โ Families looking to celebrate the season with music, movement, and festive cheer are invited to the Village Madness: Holiday Edition Family Dance Party on Sunday, December 7. The event will take place from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Porta Rossa Bar, located at 1221 Broadway.
Designed for attendees of all ages, the community-centered gathering will feature a DJ playing upbeat hits for both adults and children, along with free face painting, balloons, bubbles, and interactive entertainment. Event organizers say the afternoon aims to offer families a lively space to dance, laugh, and make memories together, all while enjoying holiday-themed surprises throughout the day.
Village Madness was founded earlier this year by a London native and mother of three who now resides in San Antonio. Inspired by the challenge of finding family-friendly spaces where parents could enjoy the music they love while participating alongside their children, she launched her first ticketed event in May.
The mission behind Village Madness is to create experiences where adults and kids can have fun together in a shared environment. Rather than parents watching from the sidelines, the concept encourages families to connect through music and movement in an atmosphere that is safe, inclusive, and uplifting.
Organizers say the name โVillage Madnessโ reflects the heart of the brand โ a community-driven space where families feel welcomed, supported, and celebrated.
The Holiday Edition Dance Party continues that vision by offering San Antonio families a joyful way to spend time together during the festive season.
