Vibrant food truck and bar establishment ‘El Camino’ officially opens near downtown

There’s a new place to relax, have a drink, get some food and enjoy some music pumping out from local DJ’s. It’s called El Camino and it’s in the heart of the Museum Reach area of downtown.
Located at 1009 Avenue B, just along the side in front of the VFW Post 76, the new establishment will be holding their grand opening at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 17 to the public. Right in time for the Fiesta activities.
This place stands out due to it’s bright color scheme of hot pink, teal, and orange. There are areas to take pics to post to Instagram.
They’ll have a bar that will be serving up drinks from all over. One of their featured cocktails is the Oaxacan Old Fashioned.
There will be a rotation of local food trucks, just check in on their Instagram page to see who’s going to be parked and on what day.
Last month, they ran a soft opening to prepare for what San Antonio wanted and that they can try different things to see what worked and what didn’t.
The hours of operation during Fiesta are Tuesday through Saturday 11 a.m. – 2 a.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. till midnight and they’re closed Mondays.
After Fiesta, they will revert to their normal hours of operation Thursday – Saturday 11 a.m. – 2 a.m. and Sunday and Tuesday 3p.m. till 2 a.m.
