“Upstairs with Anacacho” Rooftop Series Kicks Off with BBQ Legend ArnieTex and Star-Studded Chef Lineup

SAN ANTONIO – July 2025 – I hope you’re doing well! On behalf of Chef Leo Davila and Anacacho Coffee & Cantina, we’re thrilled to announce an exciting addition to San Antonio’s culinary calendar. Anacacho Coffee & Cantina and The St. Anthony Hotel are proud to launch Upstairs with Anacacho, a brand-new monthly rooftop series that blends storytelling, bold flavors, and inspiration—all set against the stunning backdrop of the city skyline.

The premiere event in this new series features none other than Arnie Segovia, known to his millions of fans as ArnieTex, or simply “Tio of Carne Asada.” Arnie has earned over 100 professional barbecue titles and was one of the first inductees into the International Barbeque Cookers Association Hall of Fame. The evening will celebrate the release of his new cookbook, “Arnie Tex: Over 100 Recipes for Mexican-American Cooking and Texas-Style BBQ.”

Guests can expect an unforgettable night that includes a chef’s panel discussion, delicious bites from some of San Antonio’s most celebrated chefs, and specialty cocktails crafted by the Anacacho Coffee & Cantina team.
