Uniform 300 exhibit to open at the downtown library Tuesday

On Tuesday, the San Antonio Central Library will be holding the opening reception of the “Uniform 300” exhibit. The exhibit showcases a photograph collection coinciding with San Antonio’s Tricentennial Celebration in 6 pillars of the tricentennial.

Those pillars that showcase the people of the community are: Religion, Military, History & Education, Arts & Culture, World Heritage and Community Service. The photographs capture citizens representing all areas of the city, their passions, jobs and walk of life. The photo tells the story.

The exhibit opens tomorrow at 5:30p until 7:30p until the 24th of September then moved to the Central Library Southwest School of Art Marie Swartz Art Resource through December 31st. Additional exhibits also will be at the Carver branch, Forest Hills branch, Parman branch, and the downtown central library.
