Tulip field coming to San Antonio in February

Spring is coming early this year. Texas Tulips is opening up a giant tulip field near San Antonio where you can pose for Instagram in a big field of tulips. Admission fee will start at $5 per person and $2.50 for each individual tulip that will be wrapped in paper with a special flower gel for the stem to preserve them for the ride home.

There will be baskets you can use to pick tulips in the field. Pick the ones you want and create a variety.

Kids 12 months and younger will get free admission. Discounts for veterans, seniors, and students cost $7.50 per person that includes entrance fee and three tulips.

U-Pick family farm is located at 15122 FM 775 in La Vernia, TX just south of I-10. Their operating hours will be from 9 a.m. till 8 p.m. seven days a week starting February to mid-March.

Also, there will be a Hay Maze for the kids. Parking, restrooms and benches will be available.
