Eric Tessmer, Tameca Jones, Blackillac and more to perform atop Frost Bank Tower on June 20

SAN ANTONIO, TX — A new rooftop entertainment experience is coming to downtown San Antonio this summer as The Krishna Company launches Top of the Frost, a live music and comedy series set high above the city skyline.

The inaugural event will take place Saturday, June 20, on the top floor of the iconic Frost Bank Tower, bringing together a lineup of acclaimed Texas musicians, nationally recognized performers and local comedians for an evening of live entertainment designed for both in-person and streaming audiences.

Organizers describe Top of the Frost as a unique concert and comedy experience that blends live performances with digital content creation, showcasing artists against one of San Antonio’s most recognizable backdrops.

Headlining the debut event is blues-rock guitarist and vocalist Eric Tessmer, who will make his only Texas appearance of the summer as part of the showcase.

Joining Tessmer on the lineup are acclaimed Austin soul singer Tameca Jones, San Antonio hip-hop duo Blackillac, and rising indie-pop band Sana Sana, which will make its first performance since signing with Republic Records.

Additional performers include James Bullard, a Crossroads Festival alumnus who has previously shared stages with some of the biggest names in blues and rock. Organizers have also teased the possibility of an appearance by Grammy Award-winning guitarist Gary Clark Jr.

Rounding out the musical lineup is The Abomic Toms, fronted by Willem Wolfe, son of rock icon Billy Idol. The band recently opened for Idol during a performance at The Forum in Los Angeles.

The evening will be hosted by San Antonio comedians Nacya Marreiro and Chris Tellez, adding stand-up comedy and local flavor to the event.

Located atop Frost Bank Tower at 111 W. Houston St., the venue will offer attendees panoramic views of downtown San Antonio while enjoying a carefully curated lineup of music and comedy.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with performances beginning at 7 p.m.

Tickets are available now and are priced at $100 for general admission and $150 for VIP access.

The launch of Top of the Frost comes as downtown San Antonio continues to expand its live entertainment offerings, with organizers hoping the series will become a recurring platform for emerging artists, established performers and original content creation.

With a lineup spanning blues, soul, hip-hop, indie rock and comedy, the debut event aims to showcase both local talent and nationally recognized acts while offering a one-of-a-kind rooftop experience in the heart of the city.
