Tommy’s Express Brings ‘Tunnel of Terror’ Back to San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO — Getting your car washed is about to get a whole lot scarier. Tommy’s Express Car Wash is bringing its annual Tunnel of Terror experience back to San Antonio this October, transforming several local car wash tunnels into drive-through haunted attractions.

Four Tommy’s Express locations across San Antonio are scheduled to participate in the Halloween event, giving drivers and passengers a chance to experience scares without ever stepping out of their vehicles.

Guests will drive through a transformed car wash tunnel filled with creepy masked employees, unexpected jump scares and haunting sounds. By the time they escape the tunnel, they’ll have survived the scares and leave with a freshly washed vehicle.

Participating San Antonio locations include:

  • 23202 US-281 N., San Antonio, TX 78259
  • 146 Saint Cloud Rd., San Antonio, TX 78228
  • 11911 SE Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78221
  • 1002 N. Hunt Lane, San Antonio, TX 78251

Tunnel of Terror has become an annual Halloween tradition for participating Tommy’s Express locations, combining the chain’s traditional car wash experience with a temporary haunted attraction.

Dates, hours and admission prices will vary by San Antonio location, so guests are encouraged to check their preferred location before heading out.

More information and individual location details are available through Tommy’s Express Tunnel of Terror.
