Tobin Center to Host Free Fiesta River Parade Viewing Party on Will’s Plaza

San Antonio, TX — One of Fiesta’s most iconic traditions will take center stage along the River Walk as the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts invites the community to its Texas Cavaliers River Parade Viewing Party on April 20, 2026.

The free, family-friendly event will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Will’s Plaza, offering guests a prime viewing location for the annual Texas Cavaliers River Parade. Known for its colorful floats and festive atmosphere, the parade is one of the most anticipated highlights of Fiesta San Antonio.

Attendees can expect an elevated viewing experience with scenic riverfront views, access to food options, clean restroom facilities, and convenient parking available in the Tobin Center Parking Garage. Organizers say the event is designed to provide a comfortable and welcoming space for families, locals, and visitors alike to enjoy the celebration.

Event partners Lyft and Sun Cruiser will also be on-site with interactive activations throughout the evening, adding to the festive environment. New Lyft users will have access to a special promotion as part of the event.

Set against the backdrop of downtown San Antonio’s River Walk, the viewing party offers a unique way to experience Fiesta while avoiding the crowds typically associated with parade seating.

The event is open to the public at no cost, making it an accessible option for those looking to take part in one of the city’s most celebrated traditions.

More information about the event can be found through the Tobin Center’s official channels.
