Things are returning to normal for the annual Raul Jimenez Thanksgiving Dinner since the event stopped doing in-person dining during the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak.
The event will be taking place this year in 2022 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center downtown San Antonio. Around 4,000 volunteers will be dishing out turkey plates with the fixings at the 43rd annual event that happens on Thanksgiving day, November 24th.
This event is aimed for senior citizens, homeless and underprivileged people who just want to get a free hot meal on the holiday. There will be live music and entertainment to enjoy.
This year the event will also be doing house calls to have a meal delivered. Those who want to have a free hot meal arranged can call 2-1-1 for more information.
