H-E-B partners may know it as H-E-B store 32, but us San Antonian’s know it as the giant store off 1604 and Bandera. That particular location is about to grow in size.
The mammoth grocery store is currently San Antonio’s largest Plus store boasting at 179,000 square feet. Plans are to add an additional 24,000 square feet in space to the existing structure at a cost of $3.8 million according to recent filings with the Texas Department with Licensing and Regulation.
While we don’t know where the construction will occur, we do know that it calls for a public cul-de-sac, additional store parking and a drainage channel realignment.
The start date of the construction will be May 2022.
