San Antonio, Texas – Charcuterie enthusiasts and foodies alike are in for a treat as the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center prepares to unveil what is poised to be the Lone Star State’s largest charcuterie board on April 17th by the team over at Ben E. Keith Food Service San Antonio Division.
With the generous support of 12 vendors who have donated an array of delectable products, the mammoth board promises to be a feast for the senses. From an assortment of cheeses and meats to an array of fruits, crackers, nuts, and spreads, every culinary craving will be catered to.
The grand total weight of the board is estimated to be a staggering 765 pounds, excluding additional serving accessories such as bowls, utensils, and decorative elements. The breakdown of the weight reveals the sheer magnitude of this culinary spectacle:
– Cheese: Approximately 335 pounds
– Meats: Approximately 140 pounds
– Fruit: Approximately 90 pounds
– Other (crackers, nuts, olives, etc.): Approximately 200 pounds
Once assembled, this gastronomic masterpiece will not only tantalize taste buds but also make history as the largest charcuterie board ever assembled in Texas said Rebecca Anthony.
