In a year unlike any other, box store giant Target has shown their appreciation to their Team Members with a little bonus. Target gave their employees a $500 to their hourly team members who work in stores across the nation including the 13 stores in the San Antonio metro area.
According to a statement, Target also went above and beyond their employees expectations as an employer by also moving to a $15-industry leading starting wage for new employees. The company has also said that they will continue to support their employees during 2021 that includes waiving absenteeism policy for coronavirus-related illnesses, providing free healthcare access via virtual doctor visits, 30-day paid leave for vulnerable Team Members, mental health support and free counseling to those who need it.
