Sunset station gets new name
The Historic Sunset station will be transformed into The Espee at St. Paul Square according to a press release announcement by East Commerce Realty, LLC. The Espee is coined “SP” paying homage to Southern Pacific Railroad since the former Sunset Station before becoming a event venue was a busy train depot for San Antonio.
Thursday (Nov. 21), the announcement explains how the venue will be designed and designated for upcoming concerts, shows and events in the venue space.
The area that The Espee is in, St. Paul Square will be evolving and changing soon in time to open new restaurants, bars, shops and offices to compliment the area.
