Starbucks introduces new holiday 2020 design on cups

November is the time when holiday themed decor makes it return into stores and it is no different for Starbucks. On Friday, the company will be serving their seasonal beverages in one of the four new festive holiday one time use cups. This year’s theme is “Carry the Merry” and is printed on two of the cups.
“Our thought behind the cups this year was about people carrying them out in the world as messengers of joy,” Jeff Wilkson, creative director for Starbucks, said in a press release. He added that he wants customers’ orders to be a “brief moment that they can look forward to.”
On, November 6th Starbucks will be serving up their handcrafted holiday beverages in a free collectable reusable red holiday cup at participating Starbucks stores for orders picked up inside the cafe, drive-thru, curbside and delivery while supplies last.

Also, to make things a little more merry and bright, you’ll be noticing the baristas swapping their green aprons for red ones.
This year’s seasonal drinks include: toasted white chocolate mocha, peppermint mocha, caramel brulĂŠ latte, chestnut praline latte and eggnog latte in its addition to their Christmas blend coffee.
In addition to the drinks, Starbucks will also be serving up seasonal desserts such as their new cranberry orange scone, sugar plum cheese danish and a snowman cookie and cake pop.

In 1997, Starbucks first introduced their seasonal cups but had controversy when they added reindeer and ornaments designs to the cup.
