Spring Break in San Antonio: Camps, Activities, and More from the City Parks & Recreation

Spring Break is just around the corner, and the City of San Antonio’s Parks & Recreation Department is making sure there’s no shortage of fun activities for families, kids, and teens! From March 10-14, students can participate in exciting Spring Break Camps across the city, designed for ages 6-14. These camps are packed with engaging programs to keep kids entertained while they’re out of school.
Community Center Camps & Free Open Swim
For those looking to cool off, the San Antonio Natatorium is offering free open swim daily from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. throughout the week of Spring Break. Open to all ages, this is a great way to enjoy some aquatic fun. Full details on Natatorium hours and classes can be found on the Parks & Recreation website.
Spring Break Activities for Families & Kids
In addition to camps, a variety of fun-filled activities are planned across the city for families and children. Mark your calendars for these exciting events:

Now Hiring: Summer Lifeguards
Looking for a great summer job? The Parks & Recreation Department is hiring lifeguards for Summer 2025! Applicants must be at least 16 years old and can apply now to earn $18 per hour. Monthly clinics are held on the first Saturday of every month at the San Antonio Natatorium to help interested candidates prepare for lifeguard pre-testing and improve swimming endurance.
