New Attractions and Experiences at SeaWorld San Antonio:
ALL-NEW Catapult Falls – This family adventure ride, the world’s first launched flume coaster, features the steepest drop and North America’s only vertical lift on a flume ride. Riders in eleven boats, each accommodating eight passengers, launch at high speeds and experience the thrill of rafting down river rapids. The ride culminates in a staggering 53-degree drop, ending in a splashdown at over 37 miles per hour.
ALL-NEW “So Much More to Sea” 60th Anniversary Parade Featuring Shamu and Crew – Celebrate SeaWorld’s 60th anniversary with a vibrant parade. Specially designed floats, the return of Shamu and Crew, and festive bubbles create a magical atmosphere. The parade includes a performance in front of Orca Stadium, engaging the whole family in singing and dancing.
ALL-NEW Cirque Show, “Splash: A Sandsational Cirque Celebration” – This beach-themed cirque show features mesmerizing acrobatic acts, including hoop tumbling, dance, balancing acts, and the thrilling Wheel of Destiny. Set in the Nautilus Amphitheater, the show transports audiences to a fictitious beach, complete with potential wave splashes.
ALL-NEW Party Zone, Bubble Bash – Daily from 12 PM to 4 PM, this party zone features a DJ, dancers, and plenty of bubbles, making it the ultimate summer celebration spot.
ALL-NEW “SeaWorld’s 60th Fireworks Spectacular” – Cap off the night with a dazzling fireworks show, featuring music from past SeaWorld shows like One Ocean and Azul, offering a nostalgic journey through SeaWorld’s history.
ALL-NEW Sea Lion Presentation, “Flippers, Facts, and Fun: A Sea Lion Experience” – This new production introduces guests to the fascinating world of sea lions, showcasing their adaptations, athletic abilities, and natural behaviors.
ALL-NEW Tortoise Habitat, Aldabra Island – The new 5,000 square-foot exhibit is home to the Aldabra tortoise, the second largest tortoise species and the longest-living animals. The Aldabra Tortoise Tour allows guests to interact, feed, and learn about these gentle giants, providing an unforgettable experience.
ALL-NEW “Unwind and Rewind” Throwback Museum – In celebration of SeaWorld’s 60th anniversary, this lounge features retired costumes, set pieces, memorabilia, and photos shared by guests. It offers a cool retreat where visitors can reminisce over SeaWorld’s rich history.
Award-Winning Waterski Stunt Show, Hydropower: Xtreme FX – This award-winning show returns with breathtaking stunts, live music, pyrotechnics, and special effects that keep guests on the edge of their seats.
Glow-in-the-Dark Puppet Show, ImaginOcean – This glow-in-the-dark puppet musical, created by Broadway’s John Tartaglia, features a captivating story about friendship and imagination. Performed in complete darkness with dazzling neon colors, ImaginOcean is a must-see theatrical experience.
