Sleepy town of Castroville to grow exponentially in size with new subdivision
The small town of Castroville, TX outside of San Antonio’s city limits are expected to double in population. Currently the population of the town is about 3,000 residents. Due to a brand new development that will feature 950 new homes to be built, the sleepy town is about to wake up.
The entrance of the brand new subdivision called Alsatian Oaks will have 400,000 square feet of space for restaurants, retail, offices, and a space for medical facilities.
San Antonio based Merit Commercial Real Estate has made a $165 million investment already into the town of Castroville.
Construction has already began for the new development right off of Highway 90 near the Walmart that was built in 2017.
