Six local Regal theatres to shut their doors

Cineworld’s Group’s PLC’s Regal Entertainment Group is the second-largest movie theatre chain in the U.S. Now, the movie chain just announced their decision to suspend operations at over 500 locations nationwide. This decision comes after a major Hollywood film decided to delay their James Bond flick “No Time To Die” until next April 2021.

The movie theatre industry is struggling to get people in their doors amid the coronavirus pandemic despite efforts to keep theaters sparkling clean. Without an audience, major motion pictures will have to delay until the pandemic winds down and there is a vaccination so that the world could return to normalcy.

It may be a few months in time before they reopen their doors once again.

These closures also includes Cielo Vista, Huebner Oaks, Fiesta 16, Alamo Quarry, Northwoods and Live Oak cinemas.
