Shakira to Donate Portion of July 5 Concert Proceeds to Central Texas Flood Relief
SAN ANTONIO (July 5, 2025) — Just hours before taking the stage at the Alamodome, international superstar Shakira shared a heartfelt message of support for families impacted by the devastating floods in Central Texas.
In a public statement, Shakira expressed solidarity with those affected, saying, “Dear San Antonio, our hearts and prayers are with those affected by the flood in Central Texas.”
She also announced that a portion of tonight’s concert proceeds will be donated to Catholic Charities of San Antonio, a local nonprofit actively providing disaster relief, supplies, and support services to flood victims and displaced families.
The gesture comes as emergency crews continue search and recovery operations following historic flash flooding that claimed dozens of lives and left many communities across the Hill Country in crisis.
