SAN ANTONIO, TX (Sept. 3, 2025) – Unspeakable horror lurks around every corner as SeaWorld San Antonio’s Howl-O-Scream® returns September 12 through November 1, 2025. The after-dark Halloween event, included with park admission, takes over the entire park with haunted houses, scare zones, and sinister shows, creating one of the largest Halloween attractions in Texas.
Running nightly from 7 p.m. to park close, Howl-O-Scream unleashes six haunted houses, eight immersive “terror-tories,” and the added thrill of SeaWorld’s pulse-pounding rides in the dark. Guests can expect encounters with centuries-old vampires, sinister sorcerers, revolting robots, and undead hordes that come to life under the cover of night.
Haunted Houses
This year’s lineup includes six uniquely terrifying experiences:
-
Dis-Assembly Line – A twisted factory where victims risk becoming part of the machine.
-
Milton Creek Manor – A haunted hotel where spirits never check out.
-
The Swamp at Blackwater Bayou – A sinister sorcerer returns to spread terror through the bayou.
-
Atlantis: The Cursed Chasm – Enter at your own risk as sirens unleash ancient evil.
-
Zombie Horde – An accident condemns a small town to the undead.
-
Bunny Bradley’s Ice Cream Shoppe – A chilling twist where screams may become the secret ingredient.
Terror-Tories
In addition to haunted houses, guests will wander through eight scare zones, including returning favorites like Ripper Row, Water’s Edge, Vampire Point, and SINdustry, alongside new additions such as Colleen’s Dollhouse and Till Death Do Us Party. Each terror-tory offers a different nightmare brought to life, from bloodthirsty vampires to sinister circus clowns.
Fear Beyond the Houses
Howl-O-Scream transforms SeaWorld into a Halloween haven for thrill-seekers, complete with sinister shows, themed cocktails, and unexpected frights lurking at every turn. Guests looking for an extra edge can purchase Evil Upgrades for front-of-the-line access and exclusive experiences.
⚠️ Warning: Howl-O-Scream is intended for a mature audience and includes intense content with violence, gore, and blood. No costumes are allowed.
