Seaworld of San Antonio is bigger and scarier than ever this year

Seaworld of San Antonio just announced Texas’ biggest halloween event ever! The 2022 Howl-O-Scream. This year there will be two new haunted houses to explore as well as two new “terror-tories”. (Insert evil laugh here).

The fun begins on September 16th lasting until October 31st from 7pm – 11pm, the fun hours and is included with regular admission to the theme park.

When Night Falls

Once dusk falls upon the park, that’s when the fun comes out there’s no way to escape the frights around each corner. There are two new haunted houses; Atlantis – The Cursed Chasm and the DIS-Assembly Line that join the existing terrifying haunted houses you’ll discover at Seaworld, such as Zombie Horde, Karver’s Kradle, Milton Creek Manor and The Swap at Blackwater Bayou.

Take a little break at the fresh new appropriately named Frost Bite bar and have a drink right next to Penguin Plaza. There, you’ll find an eerie vibe, amazing acrobatics and a DJ spinning the tunes that may get you on the dance floor to boogie.

If you’re close to The Water’s Edge, discover sirens awakening from the depths of The Cursed Chasm terrifying those who are walking by thinking they’re trespassers. You’ll find zombies, vampires, living shadows, bayou mutants and a whole cast of freaks coming out at night!

During the Daylight

If you’re a scaredy cat and want some low key Halloween fun without the jump scares, Seaworld will be fine during the daylight hours. This kid friendly time while the sun is shining includes a fun corn maze, in park trick-or-treating and a photo opportunity with Spookley the Square Pumpkin!

Guests of all ages can enjoy a Sesame Street Halloween Parade. During the day and at night, guests will be able to celebrate Día de los Muertos with sugar skull characters, traditional music and an altar honoring those who’ve crossed over.

How to experience all of this?

All of this spooky fun is with a season pass or with regular Seaworld admission. Season pass information can be found on their website: SeaWorldSanAntonio.com
