Sea World continues on with Bier Fest this year

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, nearly every event has been either postponed or cancelled this year. The Bier Fest will go on at Sea World of San Antonio.

A press release was issued on Wednesday with information on how the theme park will ensure social distancing at their annual event in September.

They said that 60 beer stations will be scattered throughout the 250-acre park to make sure that everyone complies with social distancing measures. There will be a limited park capacity, but an actual number wasn’t disclosed.

There will be beers from all around the world available on tap. Varieties include: Altstadt, Busted Sandal, Karbach Brewing Company, Independence Brewing Company, Ranger Creek, Boston beers, Mexican imports and German favorites, including Spatan, Lagar and Warsteiner Dunkel. There will also be pub food available.

Fireworks finale will light up the night of Bier Fest Labor Day weekend launching from two separate locations in the park.

The park however encourages those who want to attend and get their sip on to make their reservations as soon as possible at SeaWorld.com

Guests will be greeted at the entrance with a temperature check and face coverings are required for those ages 2 and over. Physical distancing of at least 6-feet is required between parties whether its in line for attractions or rides.

Guests aren’t required to wear face coverings while either eating or drinking.

The event spans September 4th through September 27.
