Santikos Entertainment has announced they will be shutting the doors to the Northwest 14 theater temporarily. The theater at 7600 I-10 West between Callaghan Road and Loop 410 will be getting upgraded power reclining seats, concession stand and a bar along with new screens and an upgraded sound system.
The company anticipates the theater to close down from October 22nd till November 9th.
A few Santikos locations have already went through similar upgrades with sound, food, concessions, bar, and power recliner chairs. 
The company is looking to make similar renovations to Silverado 16 and Rialto, but those plans have no yet been approved.
