According to Santikos representatives, safety is their number one concern. So if you’re planning to visit a Santiko’s facility soon you better think twice about bringing oversized bags. Beginning on Friday, March 23rd, the establishment will be banning bags/packages larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″. All bags and packages will be subject to search at anytime by Santikos. Also banned are backpacks and duffle bags.
Santikos has stated they will make an exception for medical equipment and diaper bags but will still be subject to search.
The theater also stated that they aren’t responsible nor provide storage for any personal items a.k.a large banned bags at any time. Also banned are illegal weapons, alcohol, outside food and beverages, cameras and/or recording devices, so don’t get out your cell phone and start recording because you will get thrown out.
Santikos owns and operates eight theaters in the San Antonio area.
