Santikos readies three theatres for opening Saturday

Santikos movie theatres in San Antonio are about to swing open the doors to three of their cinemas on Saturday, May 2, 2020. The Palladium (17703 I-10 W), Casa Blanca (11210 Alamo Ranch Pkwy) and Cibolo (18124 I-35) will be the locations opening up at 25% of the capacity which was revealed as phase one by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott. If all goes well, phase two will begin on May 18th increasing capacity to 50% of the occupancy.

Employees will be wearing face covering masks and gloves. There will be three showings per auditorium each day in efforts to deep clean every facility after the film.

All theatres will adhere to social distancing guidelines in all of the auditoriums. Spreading people at least six feet in queue lines for refreshments and guests will be seated in every other row spread out. Guests will be able to remove their face coverings during the show.
