San Antonio’s Culinary Stars to Shine at the Briscoe Western Art Museum for Taste of the Republic

SAN ANTONIO, TX (March 5, 2024) – As the vibrant city gears up for Fiesta® San Antonio, Taste of the Republic unveils an impressive lineup of 13 renowned chefs who will showcase their culinary artistry at the Briscoe Western Art Museum’s Jack Guenther Pavilion on Thursday, April 18, 2024. This culinary extravaganza serves as the official opening event for Fiesta® and promises to be a delectable celebration of Texas cuisine.

Curated by event co-founder Chef Brian West, the chef lineup features an exceptional group of culinary talents, each presenting their unique vision of Texas cuisine inspired by the state’s six culinary regions. Ticket holders will have the opportunity to savor dishes meticulously crafted by the following San Antonio chefs:

Chef Brian West expressed his excitement, stating, “We are so excited to bring together an excellent group of San Antonio chefs once again to celebrate Texas’ unique culinary traditions. We can’t wait to celebrate the best of San Antonio and to kick off Fiesta with all of our guests.”

Ticket holders for Taste of the Republic, priced at $125 per person, will not only have the opportunity to sample exquisite dishes from these culinary maestros but also enjoy carefully curated wine pairings. The event, starting at 5 p.m., will feature a delightful array of beer and cocktails to complement the culinary experience. Additionally, a portion of the ticket sales will contribute to supporting the San Antonio Fiesta Commission.

The venue for this year’s Taste of the Republic is the Briscoe Western Art Museum’s Jack Guenther Pavilion located in downtown San Antonio at 210 W. Market Street, SA 78205.
