San Antonio Zoo Unveils Spectacular Zoo Lights, Nominated for Best in the USA

San Antonio Zoo is thrilled to announce the return of their magical holiday event, Zoo Lights, Powered by CPS Energy, promising to be the most enchanting experience in its 109-year history. This year, the event has an extra reason to sparkle, as a panel of industry experts and editors at USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards have chosen Zoo Lights at San Antonio Zoo as a nominee for the prestigious title of Best Zoo Lights. Voting for the awards began on Wednesday, November 1, and will continue until Wednesday, November 29th at 10:59pm central, and the zoo encourages all supporters and nature enthusiasts to cast their votes to help secure the top spot.

From November 18 to December 31, San Antonio Zoo will transform into a winter wonderland, captivating visitors with miles of dazzling lights, festive music, and whimsical displays. This year’s event promises to be the biggest and brightest Zoo Lights yet, offering an unforgettable experience for families and friends alike.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there. The brand-new Polar Playground offers a frosty wonderland filled with larger-than-life activities that will make you feel like a kid again.
