SAN ANTONIO, Texas โ The San Antonio Zoo is honoring military families this April with a special promotion in recognition of the Month of the Military Child, offering free admission for eligible children and discounted entry for their families.
The limited-time offer runs from Monday, April 6 through Sunday, April 19, 2026, during regular zoo hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the San Antonio Zoo, located at 3903 N. St. Maryโs Street.
As part of the promotion, children of active-duty, retired and veteran members of the U.S. military, including the National Guard and Reserves, will receive free admission. In addition, for each military child admitted, up to four family members can receive 50% off the zooโs Any Day Admission price.
To take advantage of the offer, tickets must be purchased online in advance, and a military parent or adult must present a valid Military ID upon arrival. The promotion cannot be combined with other discounts or special offers.
Zoo officials say the initiative is designed to recognize the sacrifices and contributions of military families while giving them an opportunity to enjoy a day of wildlife experiences together.
Year-Round Military Support
Beyond this limited-time promotion, the San Antonio Zoo continues to support military families throughout the year by offering a $5 discount on daily admission. Additionally, in November, the zoo honors Veterans Day by providing free admission for military members, along with discounted tickets for their families.
