SAN ANTONIO, TX — A signature night of food, music, and philanthropy is returning in a big way as San Antonio Zoo prepares to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Zoo La-La! A Taste of San Antonio on Thursday, May 14, 2026.
This milestone event, presented by Higginbotham, transforms the zoo into a vibrant, after-hours 21+ experience featuring tastings from more than 50 of San Antonio’s top restaurants, along with beer, wine, and live entertainment across the grounds.
For a limited time, guests can take advantage of a 25% discount on Standard Admission tickets, available now through April 12.
A Premier Night of Food, Drinks, and Entertainment
Zoo La-La! has become one of the city’s most anticipated annual events, offering guests an all-inclusive evening under the stars. General Admission begins at 7:00 p.m., with the event running through 10:30 p.m.
This year’s celebration brings added energy with live performances from Tag Team and Digital Underground, delivering nostalgic 90s hits alongside the festival’s culinary offerings.
Elevated VIP Experience
VIP guests will receive early entry starting at 6:00 p.m., along with access to two exclusive VIP areas. Highlights include the air-conditioned Hippo Viewing inside Africa Live!, where attendees can get an up-close look at Timothy the hippo.
VIP admission also includes premium food samples, signature cocktails, and a full bar experience. The VIP program is sponsored by North Park Toyota.
A Celebration with Purpose
Beyond the food and entertainment, Zoo La-La! serves as a major fundraiser supporting the San Antonio Zoo’s mission as a nonprofit organization. Proceeds go toward conservation efforts, animal care, and educational programs aimed at protecting wildlife and inspiring community engagement.
