Dubai, UAE – The San Antonio Police Department’s elite SWAT team is currently making headlines on the international stage as they participate in the 5th edition of the United Arab Emirates SWAT Challenge in Dubai. The event, taking place from February 3rd to 7th, has attracted the world’s top elite SWAT teams from over 70 countries, converging in Dubai to compete in a series of intense challenges.
The competition centers around an obstacle course featuring five challenging events that test the mettle of SWAT teams, pushing their limits and showcasing operational excellence. With a total prize pool of $260,000, the top-performing teams, up to 10th place, stand to earn a monetary reward for their outstanding performance.
The San Antonio Police Department’s SWAT team, known for their professionalism and skill, has been holding their own against fierce competition from around the globe. As teams engage in events such as Tactical, Assault, Officer Rescue, Tower Climb, and the Obstacle Course over the five-day competition, SAPD continues to demonstrate their prowess and commitment to excellence.

Day 1 witnessed the teams facing off in the Tactical event, followed by Assault on Day 2, Officer Rescue on Day 3, Tower Climb on Day 4, and the climactic Obstacle Course on Day 5. The challenges are designed not only to test physical endurance but also to assess tactical acumen and teamwork.
