San Antonio still holds largest MLK march in nation
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, about 300,000 San Antonian’s woke-up early at 10 am for a great cause. They head down to the Martin Luther King Jr. Academy on Martin Luther King Way on the east side of San Antonio. People bundle up, bring their family friends. Some gather with their congregation, charities, or organisations to make their way 2.75 miles down the road to Pittman-Sullivan park, where everyone gathers in a positive environment to spread love and enjoy lunch from the many vendors.
