San Antonio Spurs Face Rescheduled Games Amid NBA Adjustments

SAN ANTONIO, TX – January 28, 2025 – The NBA has officially rescheduled two San Antonio Spurs games as part of a broader league-wide adjustment due to wildfires in Los Angeles and severe weather in New Orleans.
The Spurs’ originally scheduled game against the Los Angeles Lakers on January 11 has been moved to Monday, March 17, at 7:30 PM local time (10:30 PM ET) at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The postponement was caused by the ongoing wildfires in California, impacting multiple events in the area.
Additionally, the Spurs’ home game against the Orlando Magic, initially set for March 17, has now been pushed to April 1 at 7:00 PM local time (8:00 PM ET) at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio. The adjustment ensures that the team can fulfill its obligations while accommodating the rescheduled Lakers matchup.
Spurs Eye Playoff Push Amid Tough Schedule
With these changes, the Spurs will face a demanding stretch in March and April. The road game in Los Angeles will serve as a key test against the Lakers, a long-time Western Conference rival, while the home matchup against Orlando will provide another opportunity for the Spurs to showcase their young talent in front of their home crowd.
San Antonio fans will now have to wait a bit longer to see their team take on Orlando, but the April 1 showdown will be a crucial fixture as the season enters its final stretch.
