Would you agree that San Antonio is one of the friendliest places in the United States?
After analyzing feedback across cities all over the U.S., app company OfferUp says and has the data that the Alamo City is one of the friendliest places.
The app works as a service where the user posts up what they want to sell and connect with local buyers who are interested or looking for the item you are selling.
After the interaction has been made, the app collects data to see if the person was friendly or not and found out that many San Antonian’s who used the app are indeed “friendly”.
San Antonio made it to fourth place among other cities such as San Diego, Seattle-Tacoma, and Los Angeles to name a few.
The company releases the data on what is called “Good Neighbor Day”.
“This year, we also decided to look at how people are using OfferUp to give back to their communities during this challenging year,” wrote OfferUp CEO, Nick Huzar. “Over the past several months, we’ve witnessed people engage in countless examples of generosity on the marketplace by donating items that have been hard to find and are in high demand due to the Coronavirus pandemic. And despite the pandemic, our data shows that Americans are more generous, friendlier, and reliable than last year.”
