San Antonio residents looking to cool off this summer will soon have several public pool options as the city prepares to launch its 2026 preseason pool schedule.

Beginning Saturday, May 23, select pools across San Antonio will open from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. for preseason operations. Pools will also remain open on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, offering families and residents a way to kick off the holiday weekend while temperatures begin climbing across the city.

The preseason schedule includes the following pool locations:

• Elmendorf Lake Park
• Fairchild Park
• Heritage Duck Pond Park
• Kingsborough Park
• Lady Bird Johnson Park
• Spring Time Park
• Woodlawn Lake Park

The seasonal openings mark the start of summer activities at city-operated aquatic facilities, with additional pools and programming expected to roll out later in the season.
