SAN ANTONIO (August 7, 2024) โ San Antonio Parks and Recreation is excited to announce the extended pool season schedule for seven outdoor pools, beginning the week of Monday, August 12, 2024, through Sunday, September 15, 2024. These pools will remain open on weekends, offering residents more opportunities to enjoy the water as summer winds down. Additionally, Woodlawn Lake Pool will continue to offer morning lap swim and aqua fitness classes during the week.

Opportunities to Stay Cool
In addition to the extended pool hours, San Antonioโs seven splash pads will remain open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. through October, providing another way for residents to beat the heat.
Furthermore, Parks and Recreation has partnered with the Southwest ISD Aquatic Center to offer Community Swim Days, giving even more chances for community members to enjoy swimming activities.
