San Antonio Extends Free Pool Season Through Labor Day
SAN ANTONIO — Summer isn’t over just yet. San Antonio residents will have a few extra weekends to cool off with the city’s 2026 Extended Pool Season, offering free admission at six public pools through Labor Day.
The extended season runs August 10 through September 7, 2026, with participating pools open Saturdays and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The pools will also be open on Labor Day, Monday, September 7.
Participating Pools
Free swimming will be available at:
- Kingsborough Pool
- Lincoln Pool
- Normoyle Pool
- Spring Time Pool
- Westwood Village Pool
- Woodlawn Lake Pool
Admission is FREE and open to all ages.
Lap Swim & Aqua Fitness
Woodlawn Lake Pool will also offer lap swimming and aqua fitness Tuesday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Appropriate swimwear is required at city pools. Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
The extended season gives San Antonio families another opportunity to beat the late-summer heat and enjoy the city’s public pools before the 2026 outdoor swimming season wraps up on Labor Day.
