San Antonio entering stage 1 water restrictions Friday

San Antonio is using the Edwards Aquifer more because now more people are at home, the Summer heat is brutal and also low rain chances to replenish our liquid resource. The aquifer is projected to go below 660 feet, which triggers water restrictions.

So the San Antonio Water System will be implementing stage 1 water restrictions beginning on Friday, July 10th.

Water restrictions mean that you can only water your lawn based on the last digit of your home address before 11 a.m. or after 7 p.m.

6/7 – Thursday

8/9 – Friday

Hand watering will be allowed at any day and at any time.
