Yelp compiled a list data from Yelpers of the best rated brunch spots in the United States and a San Antonio restaurant came close to first place. San Antonio’s very own Comfort Cafe came in second place on the list out of 100 Best Brunch Spots.

So if you’re looking to take mom to get a good brunch for Mother’s Day, then may want to plan ahead. Comfort Cafe is a donation based 501(c)(3) non-profit cafe. All of the proceeds that they make from each dish go to their recovery program, SerenityStar. This program helps people in a safe environment to learn, grow, heal and love.

While each meal helps save someone, this place is a cash or check basis only. They have an ATM on location in case you forgot to pull out cash. A minimum of $15 per meal is kindly suggested and appreciated according to their website.

Comfort Cafe is nestled inside of the small Los Patios environment that is surrounded by trees and wilderness tucked away from the hustle and bustle of San Antonio.

If you find yourself waiting for a table to clear, because fair warning that this place can fill up quickly, you can grab a snack or beverage from Java Junkies for a suggested donation of $5.

The physical location is at 2015 NE Loop 410, San Antonio, Texas 78217
