San Antonio Chefs Spotlight Girl Scout Flavor Fest

San Antonio, TX — February 12, 2026 — The annual Girl Scout Flavor Fest returns to Southwest Texas from February 20 through March 1, bringing together community support, culinary creativity, and limited-time treats inspired by this year’s cookie lineup.

This year, two San Antonio culinary leaders — Lisa Wong of Rosario’s ComidaMex & Bar and Elise Russ of Clementine — are elevating the celebration with signature desserts and cocktails available exclusively during the festival.

Lisa Wong, a 2024 Trefoil Award recipient and longtime supporter of Girl Scouts, is introducing a limited-time cocktail inspired by the new Exploremore cookie. The “s’more than espresso martini” blends rich espresso flavors with a velvety finish and is topped with a sprinkle of cookie crumbs for added sweetness and crunch.

Wong looks forward to the annual festival as both a celebration and a way to give back. Drawing from her own Girl Scout roots, she uses the collaboration as an opportunity to mentor and inspire young women while showcasing culinary innovation. For Wong, the event is about more than flavors — it is about empowering the next generation.

Clementine

Nine-year Girl Scout alumna Elise Russ returns for another year of participation with an elevated dessert creation centered on the Exploremore cookie. Known for her advocacy for young professional women, Russ blends mentorship with culinary artistry.

For this year’s festival, she presents “Rocky Road,” a dessert featuring toasted almond ice cream layered with house-made marshmallow and creamy cremeux. The dessert will be available throughout the festival for $18.

Russ and Wong, both members of Les Dames d’Escoffier, share a commitment to uplifting women in food, beverage, and hospitality. Their participation in Girl Scout Flavor Fest highlights a shared mission: honoring their Girl Scout experiences while inspiring young women to dream boldly and pursue leadership roles in the culinary world.
