San Antonio — proudly known as Military City USA® — will once again honor those who have served and continue to serve with the fifth annual SA Veterans Day at Hemisfair, presented by H-E-B Operation Appreciation. The free, family-friendly celebration will take place on Saturday, November 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Hemisfair Park in downtown San Antonio.

The event invites the community to come together in gratitude and unity, celebrating the veterans of today and tomorrow through a full day of live entertainment, food, family activities, and connection to veteran-supporting organizations.

At 1:00 p.m., a special Veterans Day Ceremony will include a presentation of the colors, remarks from community leaders, and a moment of reflection honoring the service and sacrifice of America’s military members.

Throughout the afternoon, guests can enjoy live music, delicious food and drinks, and interactive activities — all at no cost — while learning more about programs and resources available to veterans and their families.

Adding to the day’s spirit of appreciation, Valero Energy will ensure veterans and service members are “fueled up” for the occasion. ⛽🇺🇸 The company will give away $10,000 in Valero Fuel Cards to veterans and active-duty military members (with valid military ID) who check in at the Information Booth during the event. Limit one fuel card per eligible guest while supplies last.
