San Antonio-Based Manufacturer, Twang, Partners with Alamo Beer Company on New VIVA Beer

SAN ANTONIO, TX (April 23, 2024) – Twang, a renowned local manufacturer, is set to unveil an exciting collaboration with Alamo Beer Company, a beloved brewery in the heart of San Antonio. The partnership has resulted in the creation of a new Spicy Michelada flavored VIVA Beer, scheduled to launch on May 5. Crafted with Twang’s signature Spicy Michelada Mix, this innovative beer will initially be available for purchase exclusively at Alamo Beer Company during the launch event, featuring 19.2 ounce tallboy cans straight from the brewery.

To celebrate the unveiling of the Spicy Michelada VIVA Beer, Alamo Beer Company and Twang are hosting a Launch Party on Sunday, May 5, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Patrons can indulge in the new beer in 19.2 ounce tallboy cans, available both for onsite consumption and takeaway. In addition to the libations, the event will feature various vendors including El Retonito, Bad USA, AJ’s Snack Shack, NeighborPhood, To the Moon Creations, and more, ensuring a festive atmosphere for all attendees.

Following the launch event, the Spicy Michelada VIVA Beer will be available for purchase in 6-pack and 12-pack options, as well as single tallboy cans, at Alamo Beer Company. Additionally, starting this week, single tallboy cans can be found at all H-E-B locations across San Antonio and New Braunfels, select convenience stores in both cities, and at Go Rio in San Antonio.
