San Antonio Artist Robert Sosa Wins 43rd Annual Tejano Conjunto Festival Poster Contest

SAN ANTONIO, TX (March 7, 2025) – The 43rd Annual Tejano Conjunto Festival en San Antonio has announced its first-place winner for this year’s poster contest! Congratulations to San Antonio native Robert Sosa, whose artwork will serve as the official festival poster.
For Sosa, this win marks a full-circle moment—he previously won the contest in 1983 and 1985 with a painting of Conjunto pioneer Don Santiago Jiménez Sr. Now, 40 years later, he returns as the winning artist once again, this time paying tribute to Don Santiago’s son—Grammy Award winner, Tex-Mex/Conjunto legend, and San Antonio native Flaco Jiménez.
