Rosario’s set to close up and move to new location

Rosarios

Southtown – Rosario’s Mexican Cafe y Cantina is about to close up their location of 20-years at 910 Alamo Street at 9pm Sunday, November 27, 2022. The Southtown staple has been serving up margaritas, nachos and other delicious Mexican food options for many celebrations. But this is one celebration that can’t be missed.

Rosario’s will soon call their new location which was the former El Mirador at 722 S. St. Mary’s, not far from their former location. This remodeled structure will be state-of-the-art and has a second floor patio that will overlook the skyline of downtown San Antonio.

“It will be sad to say goodbye to a space we’ve occupied for the past 23 years but we are so excited to be moving into our new forever home where we look forward to continue serving and creating many more wonderful memories with our faithful followers in the years to come,” Lisa Wong, the owner of Rosario’s exclaimed in their news release. Back in 2018, Wong purchased the property for $3 million.

Those who are wanting to get their Rosario’s fix downtown will have to wait until mid-December because the staff have to get aquatinted with the new place after their big move. Until then, you can still visit Rosario’s North at their 9715 San Pedro Ave. location which is in full-swing.

Ditch the leftovers & join us this week with your friends & family as we say our goodbyes. 😭Our 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋 day of service is this Sunday, November 27th at our current Southtown location.
