‘Quatermain Pub’ takes the old Hooligan’s spot in Live Oak

The old Hooligan’s Bar & Grill at 13920 IH-35 N in Live Oak is now known as “Quatermain Pub”. Fun fact: The pub is named after Allen Quatermain from Indiana Jones of Western Europe.

The pub is very unique to the area. It’s a hybrid pub that offers a little bit of everything for everyone. Whether you’re looking for a place to cue it up at the pool table or meet up for the dart leagues, this is your place.

There’s two levels in the 12,000 square foot pub with a cigar lounge and a humidor to puff along with your favorite whiskey. Speaking of drinks, Quatermain Pub has unique craft drinks and over 20 draft beers and classic cocktails you’ll love in the full bar.

On the weekends, you’ll find live entertainment on Friday nights and on Saturday nights it gets spicy with Noches Tropicales. There’s a DJ/Karaoke to get you singing along to your favorite song on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Just keep an eye on their social media accounts for live music listings at Facebook.com/quatermainpub.

The official grand opening is on January 19th starting at 5pm and going strong until 2 in the morning.
